Long weary days traveling across the desert, a hard day's work in the mines, or just a quick quiet getaway, Travelers inn was a beacon in the night. The staff and new management have really turned this place around. KIRSTEN was amazing. She went above and beyond to make my wife and I feel comfortable and safe. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you guys!!
I spent seven hours driving on the highway and came in exhausted at about 2 in the afternoon. The front desk clerk who checked me in went above and beyond to ensure that I had a room ready immediately, even going so far as to prepare me a room personally. It was great to be so well cared for. As far as the rooms go, the accommodations are nice for the price. The beds are firm but not solid, pillows are comfy, amenities provided are good, and breakfast options are plenty. I stumbled here because it was the first hotel off of the highway, and I could not be happier that I found this place. Carlin is also a historic railroad town with a surprising amount of things to occupy your time with. There's a lovely cafe down the street that has a huge bar attached, a well rated Mexican restaurant, a wonderful museum, and a historic downtown across the tracks that has seen better days but adds to the charm that is this small railroad town. I highly recommend this motel as a wonderful place to stay for travelers passing through as well as people exploring the area.
Was traveling by this location and decided to stay for night. Stay was very pleasent. The town is quiet and has decent food places nearby. The rooms very nice, and the staff was very easy going with the check in process.
Clean, quiet, big room. The bed was comfortable and there was good hot water pressure. Very easy to get to right off the interstate. The Inn is under renovation which was needed as you can really see the difference in the worn and the updated. It was not an inconvenience or noisy at all. Friendly staff. Easy check in. Easy check out. One suggestion would be to offer napkins with the breakfast. There are a couple of signs asking you not to use towels as napkins which is fair enough, and that you will be charged for them if you do. Again, fair enough if their towels are stained. Also a sign that asks you to ask housekeeping for rags. I didn't see any housekeeping to ask and there wasn't anyone at the counter while I ate my breakfast in the lobby. I guess I could have called but it would have been nicer to have napkins or rags available.
The manager Ankush is a great host and the hotel is getting fixed up very nice.
The outside is nice. The inside is being remodeled, still but at least the bedroom floors were done! The bedding was clean and fresh, room in general was clean as well. It’s older yes, but i feel like it was nicely kept. Tv worked perfect with LOTS of channels. Staff was friendly too.
It was neat and clean. My room was a basic room. No coffee maker though but it had a big fridge. Very nice front desk man checked me in and they did have a very light continental breakfast. Nothing fancy. It was a pleasant stay.

The lobby was inviting, staff very friendly. Our room was comfortable and bathroom clean. The shower needs a little work but once it got going it was fine. For the basics, the Carlin Inn was fine. Very quiet neighbors...the cemetery is next door.
Very clean, new looking place. Brand new mini fridge, nice TV & Dish network. Clean bathroom. Wood floors make it more hygienic. Its very secure, well lit, & cameras everywhere. Nice front staff. The mattresses feel new & have protective covers. Since I’ve worked in hotels I know that guarantees no bed bugs. I never heard any other guests on a busy Fri night. It was quiet. We’ve stayed in so many gross outdated hotels driving through NV on HWY80 each year, and this is a hidden gem 20 mins from Elko restaurants & stores. Only suggestion is have the house keepers swifter under furniture at least 1X per week & ** clean/disinfect heater/AC units filter & grill. It was dusty so underperforming and instead of buying new heater/AC unit they just need to be cleaned by someone who knows what they’re doing. It will help save $. Otherwise we’ll stay loyal guests when traveling through NV for halfway point several times a year. Thanks
